Love, trauma, and even violence are infused by color in these images.
I am trying for an x-ray of a moment, rather than just the surface
of the thing. I'm striving to achieve photographs in which people interact
with the space within the frame, and the space interacts with them.
I want my photographs to be a vessel large enough to hold all the tenderness,
love, trauma and pain that feels too big to exist in any other place.
