Kseniia Filatova

Kseniia (Ксения) is a designer who explores linguistic displacement and new media culture through moving image, coded interface and printed layout.

Conceptually, her work is at the intersection of translingual media circulation and online gaze economies. Including (but not limited to) slavic diaspora, experimental poetry, broken grids, pictorials in communication, poor fried imagery.

Formally, it translates into participatory and generative methods: co-creation, translation, and gamified interaction. Projects often shift between digital and physical formats, from dreamy hand-drawn animation and tacky eyesight-controlled website to haptic tilted zine.

Lastly, Kseniia is now (as you can tell) a Yale Graphic Design MFA student hovering around New Haven, CT.
