Born in Colorado, USA, Amy Wang (they/them) is an artist currently based in New Haven, CT. In Amy Wang's work, the commodified body is a symptom of political institution. They hold a Master of Fine Arts from Yale University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Washington - Seattle. Their practice has been generously supported through grants and residencies from Arizona State University, Creatives Rebuild New York Initiative, Wassaic Project, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and Pilchuck Glass School.
