Diego is a sculptor and landartist, interested in spatiality. Whether he’s making a multi-acres drawing with a lawn mower in Texas or assembling thousands of seeds on a table top sculpture, Diego’s experience of art-making is a constant immersion with the material at hand (or foot). Working outdoors, under various uncontrollable conditions, Diego’s has come to accept ephemerality as a part of the work, and has grown to appreciate watching a day’s work melt or get blown away.
